Limenoscope

Limenoscope is a modern base-template designed to revamp an old European website focused on showcasing important archaeological data. This project was born during my Erasmus experience, where I saw the need for a cleaner, faster, and more modern way to present cultural and scientific heritage online.

This is also my very first project using React with Vite — a lightweight and fast development environment!

🚀 Features

  • ⚛️ Built with React and Vite
  • 🌐 Using Tailwind CSS for styling
  • 🧱 Clean and customizable project structure

📦 Getting Started

To run the project locally:

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/yourusername/limenoscope.git

cd limenoscope

# Install dependencies
npm install

# Start the development server
npm run devv

❤️ Thanks

Many thanks to Aris Akidonakis at IMS (Institute for Mediterranean Studies) for having guided me through the steps of learning a new framework. He and his team have been very supportive and inspiring during my Erasmus experience..
