Made for Hack Club Siege week 7, topic signal
Took too big scale for such game and it came out out as it is
Balance is weak point, game is too easy. It doesn't feel entertaining to break it
Game is about connecting nodes (components) and trying to maximize your cash production.
All nodes have triggers as well as additional properies.
Also all nodes are limited in their connections
You can trigger node as example via:
- Sending signal
- Ending turn
- Direct activation from some nodes
In order to progress you need to satisfy you current money needs
After every turn quota will increase and you will given option to select one of two packs of components
- Left mouse to place / start connecting components
- WASD , arrow keys, middle button to move camera
- scroll mouse wheel , +/- to zoom in/out
- Shift to increase camera speed
Your build can be so powerfull, that your game will crush under weight of cash and signals.
You should be carefull about what are you doing.
Also first try will be laggy. Idk how to fix and what causes it
I am not sure if interpreted theme correctly, but i though that signal is signal, it is same for ethernet, wireless and etc. All of theme boils down to single or multiple network grids where everyone interacts with each other via signals. It doesn't matter what signal is while it is sending some kind of information (information when you need to trigger in case of this game).
