CyberDeck-2077

A (WIP) CyberDeck project themed from the game CyberPunk 2077 CyberDeck - a small, retro mini-pc running off basic hardware. They're a trend at the moment, which is where i got the idea to make one The case, clips, hinges, attatchments etc. are all designed to be 3d printed, and attatched together with m2/m3 screws. I made this project because i have an interest in cybersecurity, and wanted to make a small, portable device that i could use to practice on. Even though it isn't hugely functional for that purpose rn (using only a relatively slow pi5), it is designed so that I have plenty of space to adapt it in the future if I want to. I love the game CyberPunk 2077, the assosiated tv show, and the cyberpunk style as a whole, and thought it an ideal aesthetic inspiration for the project.t.
The cyberdeck features::

  • Rasberry Pi 5 as the mainboard
  • a 7 inch 1024x600 monitor
  • a Rii x1 mini keyboard
  • neural port style usb hub (from the game)
  • other components (rear ethernet port, usb-c port, cooling fan)

What i intend to use the deck for: i'm super into cybersecurity rn and im hoping to go into work in that industry, so i'm going to insall some sort of linux distro (arch/kali) designed for cybersecurity and use it to practice skills related to cybersec. i also intend to do some other projects in fallout to compliment it, including a BadUSB/RubberDucky pcb board that im working on atm (elliotgaler/DIYRubberDucky). I might expand it in the future to include an internal battery, but i'm leaving it as a wall-power only for simplicityy

Future changes/plans:

  • update USB ports on LowerCaseCover to fit the actual hub
  • Add an internal battery
  • integrate my other projetct (DiyRubberDucky), adding storage/attachment points

FILES:
construction files - the fusion CAD files, for the assembled and blown-up design + step files for ease of use 3mf files - the files ready for printing on a 3D printerer
documentation - word docu that i made to help me with the process + images of the process + bill of materials + fallout zine + wiring diagramm

NOTE - many of the holes needed on the casing can't be printed due to sub-optimal print orientation, so in many places there is small holes that are designed as markers for where to drill larger holes. i can't add a map for what to drill where until i actually build the project, so this will be incomplete for now

NOTE - as this is a WIP, files may not be fully functional as of 04/05/26 (dd/mm/yy) - hopefully once i physically build the cyberdeck, i can correct any small issues e.g. USB ports being misplaced due to a lack of dimensions on the product page for the USB hub
