how it works: the brain of the microcontroller is a XIAO RP2040, and it has three purposes!
- it controls the DC motor
- it changes the led strips
- it plays sound on the speakker
the DC motors are powered by a battery connected to a 3-point lever, and because the MCU and other components take less than the battery voltage, we use a buck converter to step down to 5V from the batteries. The XIAO runs code that plays a tune on the speaker with a library, and the led strips also use a library to create a rainbow pattern.
