How Demo Mode Works
Safe sandbox behavior and limitations
Demo mode is designed for safe testing.
Changes are temporary and isolated so users can explore without touching real infrastructure.
What is limited
- Data persistence: monitors, status pages, and settings are stored in server memory only.
- Automatic reset: all demo changes reset every 15 minutes back to demo defaults.
- SSH monitoring: disabled in demo mode to avoid handling server credentials and key setup.
- Certain sensitive settings and integrations may be restricted to protect the shared demo environment.
