My first time attempting something of the kind . I had to learn how to do things like create a PCB , understand how to use applications like autodesk and kicad , but it was fun and didnt take too long
I personally Havent exactly mastered using autodesk for my cad since this was my first time creating something on the app , so i couldnt figure out how to import the parts successfully as the computer just couldnt find them .
I started this project initially when i saw a tiktok about the project and how hackclub were trying to create a engineering community or sorts and joined to try and learn something new
BOM
My project features SK6812 MINI-E LEDs (x2) EC11 Rotary encoders ( 2x) MX-Style switches (4x) 1x XIAO RP2040 1x Case- two 3d printed parts M3x16mm screws M3x5mx4mm heatset insertsinserts
My firmware is really basic since i dont know much python and really used this project to learn some , i also did have to use some help from the basic starter code in kmk that the tutorial suggests and some use of ai but it should work
