Hi, Everyone!
I'm Shreyas and with the help of Hack Club, have I designed a custom Macropad!
Here you can see it from a top down perspective:
Here you can take a look at my schematic for the Macropad which basically shows how the different components have to be connected.
In the following image you're able to look at the whole pcb!
The case and knobs are 3d-printed which will be assembled using screws for the upper and lower part of the body whilst the knobs will just fit on "rotary encoders".
And if you take a look at the bottom of the case, you can see 4 rectangular holes which are for the rbg-leds so that they can actually produce a visible lighting effect.
Last but not least is my BOM (or Bill of Materials):
- 1x Seeed XIAO RP2040
- 9x Through-hole 1N4148 Diodes
- 9x MX-Style switches
- 2x EC11 Rotary encoders
- 9x Blank DSA keycaps (White)
- 4x SK6812 MINI-E LEDs
- 4x M3x16mm screws
- 4x M3x5mx4mm heatset inserts
- 2x 3d-printed knobs
- 1x 3d-printed case
