WordGarden is an iOS vocabulary app where you grow a “word garden” by learning a little every day. Add words, review them with flashcards and focus sessions, and watch your tree and streak grow over time.
- Save your own words: Add any word or phrase you want to remember and save to WordGarden instantly.
- Learn with flashcards: Flip between word and definition, and mark words that need review.
- Photo Vocabulary: Point your camera at an object and turn it into a word to learn.
- Focus sessions: Run a simple focus timer that grows your tree and daily streak.
- Daily streak & widgetsgets: See your streak on the home screen and Lock Screen.
- Clear definitions: Get meanings and examples from the Free Dictionary API (freedictionaryapi.com), or write your own.
- Offline: Your words stay on your device and sync to the cloud when you sign in.

WordGarden is built with SwiftUI and Swift, and uses Firebase and Cloudflare worker to sync your data when you choose to sign in with a Google account. Definitions come from the Free Dictionary API at https://freedictionaryapi.com/.
