Ever feel unmotivated to work out? Here is a solution: Play... theFitnessLadder!!!
- Choose how many players you want to play with (yes you can play with friends to make it even better!),
- roll the die,
- move your player (watch out for roads and ladders --> roads = down, ladders = up),p),
- pick up the card that matches the color you landed on,
- calculate how many reps you need to do based on your roll (don't worry, instructions are on the card)
- do the excerse on the card,
- next turn!
You must pick up a card, do the excersise and close the card before you can roll the die again.
Each game will be unique, as die rolls are random, and each card takes input from your roll.
I am definetly very proud of this project. It has been the project I have worked the longest on. I ran into so many bugs, had to watch so many tutorials, crashed out a couple times, and still managed to finish with a product I am very proud of.
This project definetly challenged me and I learned so many new cool things I can apply to other projects later.
I took inspiration from Aces, which is where I got the idea for this project from. I was in a workout slump and was wondering if I could combine three things I love (math, coding, playing card/board games, and working out) to help me and other athletes out.
It is made with JS, HTML, and CSS. If you'd like to contribute to it, just clone the repo and you should be good to go. It can be deplyed on web.
All cards are very home-friendly, meaning you don't need crazy equipment to get started. All you need is to press start, maybe a couple dumbells, and thats it.
There is definetly more to be done with this project to make it even better, so I will definetly keep working on it (I just dont want to miss the deadline to submit...)

AI was occasionally used to help me debug. The biggest part I used AI in was to help me figure out how to make it so that in multiplayer mode, the correct card on the card pile was able to be selected. It would only recognize Player 1's position and when it was Player 2/3/4's turn it would not update to the correct card.

My Lapse synced weird with my hackatime projects. Above I added how long the lapse is, how many minutes it synched, and the difference. I did post in #lapse-help but never got a good response.
Please subtract 1h and 23min from my final total hours!
