The krill kam uses a Raspi pi cam module and Raspi to basically create a custom digital camera. It's based of the old sony handycam. It comes with it's own screen and app to take and view photos or videos. It can also record audio from a mini USB mic. Lastly, it is all powered with a simple LiPo battery!

I wanted the camera to be more handycam shaped because my personal handycam's microphone and speaker are broken. I wanted to originally fix this, but I decided I would challenge myself with creating my own camera! (Plus repairing the Handycam seemed pretty sketchy 😢)
