York is a 2d terminal game which runs on your windows terminal , its like minecraft but in 2d terminal ! and yeah it also has story ! .

i built it from scratch in c++ language with only c++ standard libraries ! .

It has infinite procedurally generated worlds with caves , hills , dungeons , structures ,ore viens etc..

It uses fractional brownian motion for generating realistic worlds

You can break blocks like- grass , stone ,iron ,gold ,diamond etc .And build your own world !

You can collect resources and upgrade your skills

You can use weapons like fist , pistol and kures (automatic missile launcher)

And yeah u can also use cheats through pause menu ! . u can increase your speed , go in spectate mode to explore the world , and also get diamnds !.

I implemented a uniqe way to manage windows , each window has its own screen and all window are being stored in a stack ! , and the top most window in stack will be loaded for output !

And all of these things just in a terminal game !

i dont think its needed? Everything is explained in game!

just remember these are all the controls that will be use in game -> WASD keys , arrow keys , enter , space , I , K , V and E. E.

bruh i will explain the controls in more details . who knows u may not able to open cheat window?

use "a" and "d" key to move , and space key to jump !

press "v" to open weapon window , "k" to open skills window and "i" to open item window

use shift + arrow keys to break blocks [ the blocks u break will be transfer to your inventory!]

press "e" to open inventory , use "w" and "s" key to select items and then click enter

to place the selected item just press the arrow keys in the direction u want to place the blocks!

press enter to open pause menu , u can save your game or open cheat menu!

right now you can explore, mine, build, and save your worlds. But I have so many features planned: multiplayer support , more block types,crafting systems, mobs and enemies, better world generation with biomes and structures, and a complete story mode. the foundation is solid, now its time to build an entire game on top of it.
