a tool that turns a repo's github commit history to music

this is a website that turns your github repo into a tune! just input your author/repo/branch and click run

you can go to commitune to try it out!

notice: the github api is rate-limited, and this uses at least 12 calls per tune, so its limited to 5 tunes per hour

im fairly unfamiliar with APIs, and its been years since i last worked with javascript

so this project is a way for me to learn some new stuff that im not familiar with

since this is my first time working with tone.js, I had to scrape their website and watch some tutorials on how it works

but i had fun finding the instruments from their REALLY useful examples in their website
