I forgot to tell you that for some reason the Linux release doesn't work. |
|
This is a preview video of my youtube-video-downloader terminal program in action: YVD.preview.mp4Note: I have added music in the video that is downloaded using my terminal program. |
|
I have added a Windows distribution to my GitHub repo releases: |
nvm, I tested it on my WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) and it worked fine, but it didn't work when I tested it on GitHub codespaces, and it turned out that many of my friends tested it on GitHub codespaces, so it didn't work for them |

TerminalCraft Project Submission
Project Details
youtube-video-downloader (or YVD for short)..
(Give your best estimate or show proof using hackatime/waketime)
Briefly describe what your project is. What makes it unique?
(Provide a brief description of the functionality or innovation)
A terminal program that supports TUI (Text-based User Interface) that can download YouTube videos in MP4 extension, and can download the video's audio only in MP3 and WAV extensions..
What makes it unique is that it doesn't depend on an externally downloaded ffmpeg, and it's easy to use..
How many people have tested your extension?
(We recommend at least 3)
3, but this number will increase, as I have just shared my project for public..
On What operating systems have you tested this project?
(MacOS/Linux/Windows)
I tested it on Windows, and my other friends tested it for me on Linux, but sadly I don't have access to MacOS..
Does your project include a Readme file with instructions on how to use it?
(Yes/No)
Yes, it includes a Readme file, but it doesn't have instructions, as the project is very straight forward and easy to use..
