🏀 Basketball OS

I made Basketball OS because I really love the game of basketball. It is a website that works like a computer operating system. You can look at my basketball story, my players and what I want to achieve. You can even listen to the music I play before games.

I used the Hack Club guide to build this project but I added my own basketball theme to it.

• When you first open it you see a screen with a clock that shows the real time. You can press the Enter key to start.

• The background looks like a basketball court, which's really cool.

• There is a clock at the top of the screen that shows the time.

About Me. This is my story about playing basketball and my team.

My Journey. I write about how I started playing my game and when we won the championship.

My Goals. These are the things I want to achieve this season. In the long run.

Game Music. You can listen to the music I play to get ready for games.

You can move the windows around on the screen.

• You can close, minimize or make the windows bigger.

• If you press the Enter key you can start using the Basketball OS.

My name is Elizabeth I am from Canada. I have been playing basketball for 5 years. My team won the championship this season. It was a really close game. The score was 45-43. I made this Basketball OS to show how much I love the game my team and everyone who helped me.

The Basketball OS has:

• Colors that're like the ones used in basketball.

• A special background that looks like a basketball court.

• Icons and team pictures that are just, for me.

• It is designed to be simple and easy to use, like the webOS guide says.

• HTML5. This is what I used to make the structure of the website.

• CSS3. I used this for the colors, animations and gradients.

• Vanilla JavaScript. This is what makes the windows move around and the clock work.

• Spotify Embeds. I used this to add music to the website.
