Description: Battlemote is an ESP32-powered all-in-one remote controller for a battlebot.


Overview

Battlemote is a custom PCB project designed to control a battlebot.
It uses an ESP32 as the main microcontroller, features both button and joystick inputs, a TFT screen for feedback, and runs off a LiPo battery with onboard voltage regulation..

The goal of Battlemote is to provide a compact, fully integrated, and fun-to-use battlebot remote.


Components

  • MCU: ESP32-Supermini (initially Xiao ESP32-C3, later swapped)
  • Inputs:
    • Joystick
    • Buttons
  • Display: Adafruit 1.8" TFT Screen
  • Power: 7.4V LiPo Battery
  • Voltage Regulation: AMS1117-5.0
  • Misc: Mounting holes, test points, custom silkscreen art
