Aurora is a two-day local hackathon for teenagers in the Springfield, MO area. It is open to all teens who are interested in tech and computer science. Aurora will be hosted at Missouri State University on February 28th and March 1st.
Aurora is 100% free, including food and snacks!
Throughout the weekend, attendees will attend workshops, collaborate with others, and code their own coding project!
The project can be anything! Websites, apps, games, hardware projects, etc.
Missouri State University's department of Information Technology and Cybersecurity will also be hosting a "Don't Get Hacked: Cyber Hygiene for Real Life" workshop!
The goal for Aurora is for teens who are interested in coding and computer science to make a real project they are proud of. We aim to bring more exciting STEM events, such as this one, to the area, something our community greatly needs.
