A small Discord application that tells a joke when called using JokeAPI.

• Works in both DM's and Servers

Install using this link!

Use the /joke command to get started.

1. Clone the repo into your Codespace or local machine

2. Create a .env file in the project root:

  DISCORD_TOKEN=your_bot_token_here

Remember: Never commit or share your secret token!

3. Setup Discord Developer Account

4. Run the bot:

  python bot.py
