A key part of your Bento Box! When you create your website, this is one of the requirements. You need to divide your website into 3 pages, creating dividers - hence the name of this requirement!
One of these cards must be a Welcome page! This is a different requirement, called The Lid, which you can read more about on the other requirement card!
For the other two cards - it's up to you! If you're making a blog, maybe one page is for your blog posts and the other is for your about page! If you are making a recipe tracker, maybe one page could be your recipes and the other could be your top tips when cooking and baking! You have creative freedom here!
As mentioned in the Dividers requirement, one of your pages must be a welcome page!
Like before, you have creative freedom here! It could be as simple as a welcome message with a button to open the rest of the site, or it could be more complex, with a logo on the page (more about logos later), some featured content, and for more experienced programmers, a login / signup screen!
What would you do if you had 3 - amazing - pages, but no way to get between them! You would be stuck!
So, in Bento, one of our requirements is to have a way to navigate between your different pages. This could be extremely simple, like buttons at the end of the page, or for an extra challenge, we really recommend you create a navigation bar! Again, this can be as simple or advanced as you want it to be!

Create a logo like this logo for your website. Your design must:
Be made in Figma and be original (you can still use guides))
We recommend using the guide located on anchor.hackclub.com - or here but you can make it with another guide, or completely made by you!
Like before - but especially here - we want you to have creative freedom. But we also want to make sure your logo doesn't take too long to make and represents what your website is!
You must Lapse-record your design work for the logo so reviewers can verify it's original. Please do not sync your timelapse to Hackatime. It may cause your logo time to not be counted.
Art/design time is capped at 30% of your total lapsed time, or 30 minutes.
Code for 2 - 3 hours (tracked with Hackatime) and you'll earn yourself a Sushi Plushie!
Earn $5 to spend on sushi for every hour you code, up to $25 (5 hours). You're welcome to code for longer, but hours beyond 5 don't earn extra grant money.
No, the logo must be original and created for this specific program. Reusing logos from previous projects is not allowed.
Yes - individual submissions require a Lapse recording of your logo design work (if you choose to make one) so reviewers can verify it's original. Keep in mind art/design time is capped at 30% of your total tracked time, or 30 minutes, whichever is smaller - your Hackatime-tracked coding time is never capped.
No - you cannot use AI. If you do use AI - reviewers reserve the right to reject your website or deflate your payout. We want you to learn and grow. A website that shows human personality is better than AI slop!
